Voting Resources


Get ready to vote! There are three major ways that Brattleboro voters can cast a vote in the upcoming Brattleboro Town Meeting and WSESD School Board elections.
1. ABSENTEE BALLOT
• Absentee ballots must be requested for the March elections.
• You can request an absentee ballot by 5 p.m. on March 2. But apply ASAP to allow for mail delivery.
• Request an absentee ballot at https://vote.vermont.gov or contact the Town Clerk's Office.
• Pick up a ballot from the Town Clerk's office: Only the voter may pick up their ballot from the Town Clerk's office.
• Return by your absentee ballot by mail, in the Municipal Center parking lot drop box, or at the polls by 7 p.m. on March 3.
2. VOTE EARLY IN PERSON
Vote in person at the Town Clerk’s Office from Feb. 17–March 2 at 5pm. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to noon, and 1 to 5 pm. Must be 2 election officials present.
3. ELECTION DAY
Vote in person on March 3 at the American Legion (32 Linden St) from 7am–7pm.
